In our fair city you’ll find healthy cocktails, dessert cocktails, pre-dinner cocktails, and whole festivals devoted to the carefully measured alcoholic mixture. On every corner you’ll find devilish drinks sprouting smoke and adorned with feathers. You’ll find liquid concoctions in Technicolor with Pantone reference sheets as a garnish, or summer-inspired cocktails topped with a jaunty ice-cream cone alongside classic cocktails using century-old recipes. Award-winning mixologists concoct spumes, shrubs and mists in their behind-the-scenes laboratories for your drinking pleasure and now it’s time for you to vote for your favourite.

Over the coming weeks we'll be hosting a series of Twitter vote-offs pitting the city's most popular cocktail bars against one another – as we recently did with Boozers, Italians (restaurants, not people) and Coffee Shops.
We'll be posting heats every day with three cocktail bars going up against one another. You simply pick your favourite and the winner moves on to the semi until we arrive at YOUR favourite of the lot. Some of these mixologists can get quite competitive, so the winner can bask in the glory of a lovely shiny award for all to see while we all get squiffy on the fruits of their award-winning labour.
