VICTORIA Warehouse has been a go-to place over the past few months. The Warehouse Project has packed in thousands during its residency there and now the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival, running from 28 February to 1 March, will be pulling music lovers to the venue in Trafford.
As will the freshly released line up for 2014.

Whilst The Warehouse Project and Victoria Warehouse may have parted ways for the time being, the venue is still expecting a successful year. “After a successful two years of working alongside the Warehouse Project, the Victoria Warehouse is excited to be working with our in-house music producer’s Composit Music on a series of cutting edge music events,” said owners.
Victoria Warehouse is to undergo a refurb

The city has a series of great venues offering great sound and atmosphere, but none that can be adapted to meet the needs of each and every event. It's the flexibility and credibility of the space that will allow the Victoria Warehouse complex to attract some of the biggest events and artists in the world."
The warehouse is currently undergoing a refurb and will be developed to offer a mezzanine level with a capacity of 900 overlooking the main room and stage, as well as booth space. The refurb will also see an overhaul to the ticket prices and the development will introduce scaled ticketing instead of a flat ticket price.
Headline acts for the first two shows of the 2014 season are already predicted to be a great success for the venue. “We’ve had phenomenal feedback already for the planned first two shows with Hardwell and Laidback Luke," said a spokeperson for the venue, "We can’t wait to announce our next show.”
Fedde Le Grand
Dutch DJ Hardwell is the first act of 2014 and the shows on 31 January and 1 February sold out within minutes of going on sale. The shows, brought to Victoria Warehouse with the aid of Composit Music, promise to be a spectacle with ‘holographic visuals, pyrotechnics, state-of-the-art computer wizardry and spectacular and original audio-visual elements.’
Composit have also announced an event for dance music lovers on 8 March. The line-up features dance music favourites Laidback Luke, Eddie Halliwell, Mancunian producer D.O.D., DJ Kryder, Benny Benassi and chart topper Fedde le Grand.
