LAST year, we published a list of all the food and drink venues in the city centre that had to call the police during 2010 - and how many times they called.
Thanks to another Freedom of Information request, we've got the 2011 figures - we'll run them on Monday - but we can reveal a few detail this week.
"No bars in the Northern Quarter ended up in the top ten, although one did have to phone the police 70 times - the most in the area."
For example, the police received a grand total of 6,714 calls from pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants in 2011 - not bad given the number of people who visit the city during the evening.
This year's top ten has a few new entrants and a few non-movers, but you'll have to wait until Monday for that. We can say that one popular fast-food chain made the top ten though, although its nearest rival did not. They'll be loving that news.
We're a city of pretty big coffee drinkers too - so you'll be interested to know that in the Starbucks stable, which now has FIFTEEN branches in the city centre, the branch in Piccadilly, next to Debenhams, put the most calls in to the police - 25.
The Caffe Nero opposite recorded 31 calls and the Costa Coffee next to that came in with 35 calls.
In the FA Cup of Cheeky Places, the final score was Fantasy Bar 8, Long Legs 3.
The nearest bar to the Confidential offices, The Walkabout, needed to call the police 45 times. We're pretty sure Gordo wasn't responsible for any of them.
No bars in the Northern Quarter ended up in the top ten, although one did have to phone the police 70 times - the most in the area.
Also in the top ten were two venues on Canal Street, one from The Printworks and one on Deansgate Locks.
The full list will be on Confidential on Monday, so tune in next week and check to see how your favourite place fared.
