Albert’s Schloss is bringing five special beers plus a 20-inch bratwurst
Although the official Oktoberfest celebrations may not be taking place in Munich this year, experts at socially distanced fun haus, Albert’s Schloss, won’t be letting the annual event pass by without some kind of celebration.
Albert’s Schloss will award a free pint to anyone dressed in Lederhosen
Over the past few years Albert’s Schloss has reigned as Manchester’s go-to Bier Palace, so will once again play host to Oktoberfest. This year, they’ll be serving five of the best Oktoberfest biers, rarely seen outside of Munich, between Monday 7th September and Monday 5th October.
All Oktoberfest biers are £6 each and available for the duration of Oktoberfest
Paulaner Oktoberfest 6% - The perfect balance of a light taste of hops and a strong note of malt. A feast of a beer, which always goes down well.
Hofbrau Oktoberfest 6.3% - A full-bodied, bottom-fermented specialty beer. With its fine hoppy aroma, delicate notes of fruit create a beautiful lager.
Spaten Oktoberfest 5.9% - A medium bodied beer which achieves its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavour with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.
Hacker Pschorr 5.8% - Gloriously smooth, honey-coloured, toasted caramel, dark fruit, Bread and plum notes, overall it’s a spot on solid representation of this historical staple.
Lowenbrau 6.1% - Sweet malts on the nose with notes of caramel and grain complete the aroma. This medium bodied beer has a malt taste with a hint of hop bitterness as well as mild spice flavours.
To line your stomach alongside the Oktoberfest biers, the bier palace is also going to be serving Manchester’s biggest bratwurst, measuring a whopping 20 inches. Guests can also expect all the usual Schloss shenanigans, complete with Cook Haus, biers and cocktails
To officially kick off the Oktoberfest party season, Albert’s Schloss are planning a night of fun and frolics on Thursday 10th September, marking the return of their signature entertainment with live performers.
What’s more, Albert’s Schloss will award a free pint to anyone dressed in Lederhosen.
In keeping with government guidelines, Albert’s Schloss has ensured that all necessary precautions have been taken to keep this a socially distant and responsible event.
Albert’s Schloss will celebrate Oktoberfest from 7th September to 5th October.
