CONFIDENTIAL PROMOTION
Whatever the differences between the great Northern cities, discerning diners in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester are all united in finding the stylish gaucho-style Brazilian restaurant very much to their taste.
Fazenda not only offers a great culinary selection but has a real passion for wines
The first Fazenda opened five years ago in Leeds in the waterside location of Granary Wharf. It proved to be a roaring success and encouraged by the enthusiasm for Latin American gaucho-style cuisine, Liverpool opened in 2013 in the elegant Exchange Flags square followed by a £2m investment in Manchester’s Spinningfields last year.
Fazenda Liverpool celebrates its second birthday this month at the same time as Fazenda Manchester toasts an amazing first year as it approaches its first anniversary. Both restaurants have been awarded important media honours from some of the biggest publications in the North-west.
It’s not just the critics who have been wowed by the Fazenda experience. Feedback from diners in all three cities has been phenomenal, as a quick glance at the Trip Advisor rankings show.
The incredible popularity of the Fazenda brand across the North seems only to be growing, making it people’s natural choice for a memorable and high-quality lunch or dinner, whether for social or business diners.
Inspired by the fashionable high-end restaurants found in the cosmopolitan cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Fazenda offers 15 different cuts of beef, chicken, lamb and pork cooked churrascaria-style - a centuries-old gaucho tradition that involves roasting succulent cuts of meat over a barbecue.
One of the key ingredients of the success story is the accent on charming, helpful and informative waiters or 'pasadores' - at Fazenda the meats are carved at the table with exceptional standards of service.
The continuous tableside service style is already familiar in the UK, but Fazenda is a cut above the rest with its unique offer of fillet, sirloin and lamb cutlets, alongside its signature, the cap of rump or ‘picanha’, the main cut in Brazil.
Fazenda also offers a bountiful gourmet salad bar which caters for all diners, with options including sushi, smoked salmon, cured meats, hot dishes and traditional Brazilian dishes, as well as vegetarian, pescatarian and vegan options.
Fazenda not only offers a great culinary selection but has a real passion for wines. A temperature-controlled wine room will show off the carefully selected wines, a key ingredient for the Fazenda experience. All staff are trained to highest standards to advise customers on the best wines to accompany the dishes.
The impressive wine list features some exquisite South American wines, predominantly from Argentina and Chile, as well as fantastic European offerings from France, Spain and Italy. Wine-lovers can also enjoy Fazenda’s range of wine masterclasses on selected evenings and learn about wines from around the world.
Fazenda price list: Lunch Monday - Friday £17.30; Saturday - Sunday £19.30. Evening £28.30. Children dine at discounted prices, with those under 5 eating for free.
