Celebrate the hotel’s anniversary in style
HOW ELSE could The Lowry Hotel mark its fifteenth anniversary other than with a celebration of the high-quality food for which it is renowned?
On Thursday 6 October, there will be an impressive fifteen-course extravaganza featuring some of the finest ingredients the North West has to offer. The one-night-only event takes place in the River Restaurant and costs £59 per person.
Not only is it a celebration of The Lowry Hotel’s fifteenth anniversary but also a celebration of the suppliers and producers who provide the region with such fantastic ingredients and have allowed head chef Andrew Green to create such a magical menu.
Savoury courses include a blue cheese mousseline using cheese from Garstang which is supplied by one of Manchester’s oldest dairy suppliers, Gornalls, and venison tortellini made with meat sourced by award-winning butcher, John Mettrick’s of Glossop.
Gin cured salmon is another exciting dish on the menu using farmed Scottish salmon from Loch Duart.
For a sweet and sublime finale to the meal, desserts include a traditional peach melba and a Valhrona mousse which uses premium French chocolate from the famous chocolatiers.
