WITH seven street food diners, three bars and a giant T-Rex, B.Eat Street has proved itself to be right up Manchester’s street since opening in July this year. So it comes as little surprise to hear the unlikely venture has swallowed up yet more of the once windy and forgotten Deansgate Mews, creating an even bigger enclave of eats, beats and booze at Great Northern.
I don't know how much more we can cram between these walls
Alongside five new drinking and dining spaces, including new bar Bunny Jackson's, the B.Eat Streeters have also announced more seating areas, after transforming former glamour photo gallery Love Exclusive into a cosy indoor retreat; featuring comfy chairs, a private dining room, recreational pool tables, board games and darts.
Whilst the outdoor space have also been rejigged for winter, with the addition of fire pits, more heaters and even hot water bottles - if you’re feeling particularly nippy.
Alongside the new food and booze outlets comes Brickhouse - a ‘loft style, industrial event space, part-time art gallery and full time party venue’ - which, when there’s no event booked, you can hire out and look cultured. Aptly, the opening exhibition is Harrison Edwards’ Flu Season.
B.Eat Street creative director Chris Legh founded the boozy back alley along with Lyndon 'Liar's Club' Higginson and James 'Bart' Murphy, formerly of Hula Tiki Bar. It's the trio's second unprecedented success, after Junkyard Golf become a permanent fixture in Manchester and London earlier this year. He said:
“I don't know how much more we can cram between these walls, we have six different bars and drinking dens, you can now lose a night exploring everything we have to offer.
"As well as opening a gallery space, live music venue backed up by the best independent food in the city, we have created a brand new destination where you can spend an entire evening.”
So what's new?

The curd connoisseurs also offer variations with the likes of seaweed shards and ‘smashed pastry’.
