MANCHESTER235 is about to get 'probably the best sports bar in the world' with the opening of a Carlsberg pop-up this weekend.
The Carlsberg Sports Bar will offer non-stop sporting action on multiple screens, including one that measures a huge 70 sq ft.
There's also Carlsberg football tables, grass-covered walls, beer on tap (we're guessing, Carlsberg), and a menu of classic drinking food: burgers, nachos, chicken wings, and the like.
With a 70 sq ft screen, you won't need to worry about getting a good view.
It'll be showing all the major sporting events this summer including the World Cup, Wimbledon, the FA Premiership, plus major fixtures from the world of boxing, golf, Formula 1, rugby and UFC.
Based in the casino at Manchester235, it promises the 'best buzz in town' for sports fans. When everyone's running around trying to find somewhere decent to watch the England matches, head here – with a 70 sq ft screen, you won't need to worry about getting a good view.
It's free entry and opens on this Saturday 5 May with a live screening of the heavyweight rematch between David Haye and Tony Bellew.
