No one does family fun quite like Manchester River Cruises. An hour-long cruise is exactly the sort of exciting voyage that will make the October Holidays memorable.
It’s a chance for little ones to hunt for Mermaid treasure and practise their most fearsome pirate scowls.
They won’t be scowling for long though – it will be all yo-ho-ho and a glass of juice plus sea biscuits from the ship’s provisions. There are no barrels of rum as we sail across the high quays but we do have Shiver Me Timbers rum punch for all the salty old seadogs on board.
Despite all the mutiny and mayhem, the vessel is fully-equipped with toilets, heating and an on-board bar but unfortunately there is no disabled access as there are steps down to board.
Please note, it is the adult’s responsibility to ensure the behaviour of their child does not significantly disrupt others’ enjoyment.
It’s anchors away from Salford Quays every day from Monday 23 October to 27 October with sailing times at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.45pm and 4.15pm. Embark just outside the Lowry Theatre.
