Hop aboard the Princess Katherine and see a whole new side to Manchester from the water with Manchester River Cruises.
Our city river tours are perfect summer sightseeing – it’s a unique way to spend an hour and you’ll remember it for much longer than an afternoon at the pub or a day at the shops.
There’s a fully-stocked bar on board, toilets, inside and open air seating and a commentary about the history of the places that we pass.
Over the course of Manchester River Cruises’ hour’s trip, you’ll pass Old Trafford Football Ground, Stephenson’s1830 bridge, Mode Wheel Locks, Salford Quays and Media City.
Our boat departs from Ralli Quay in Spinningfields with an optional drop off outside The Lowry Centre at Salford Quays up to five times a day.
It’s a fascinating history and it’s part of your history. It’s anything but dry – after all it’s a river tour.
Do something different and book your place on a city river tour.
If you’re quick, you can also get one of the remaining tickets for our hugely popular Elvis tribute evening on Thursday 22 July. Turns out Elvis has left the building and boarded our boat instead.
Prosecco, snacks a fully-stocked bar and full-on Elvis vibes but as we’ll be remaining in the calm waters of the Manchester Ship Canal you won’t be feeling All Shook Up.
