More space, more sups, more snacks
RELAXATION is fast becoming a forgotten art form, so it’s good to see Tre Ciccio putting it firmly back on the menu with their brand-new Bramhall Village bar area dedicated to lounging.
New comfier seating, a more spacious section at the front of the restaurant and separate music policies between here and there have been introduced, along with an extended drinks list (and licensing hours, with alcohol now served until 1am on Friday and Saturday evenings) and a standalone snacking menu.
Food-wise, it’s less about formal dining and more about nibbles to accompany (and soak up) laid-back afternoon or evening drinks, authentic Italian aperitivo style. From olives to antipasto boards piled high with specially imported regional cheeses and cured meats, you can stay small or go big. Tre Ciccio favourites from the eatery’s starters have also transferred across well to the finger food choices – think those now legendary Rotolini pizza bites and the Cuoppo Fritto cones of fried fish and calamari.
The whole family here at Tre Ciccio have thoughtfully curated this menu to bring something exciting to Bramhall Village just in time for the summer.
Also coinciding with the transformation of the space in the Bramhall branch is a rethink of the drinks offer. Tre Ciccio manager Paulo explains: ‘The whole family here at Tre Ciccio Bramhall have thoughtfully curated this menu, as a team, to bring something exciting to Bramhall Village just in time for the summer!’
Perfect, then, are the spritzes – Aperol and Amalfi, with the refreshing citrus tang of Limoncello – and the addition of ever-popular Sauvignon Blanc to the white wines. Having taken on board suggestions by regulars, the team has also added some premium brands in the shape of Veuve Clicquot champagne, Tanqueray gin, Ketel One and Grey Goose vodkas, and, on draft, Heineken Extra Cold Filtered lager and Guinness. There’s also a wider variety of cocktails, including – we’re told, by popular demand – dessert cocktails: Expresso Martini, of course, but also house specialities Toffee Nut Martini and Perfectly Pecan Pie. There’s also a cocktail of the week created by the Tre Ciccio family. What’s more, there’s now a special offer, with two drinks for £14 (including selected cocktails), available from Thursday through to Sunday after 5pm.
And if you can’t make it down to Bramhall Village to check out the new space, fear not – the new drinks and aperitivo menus* are also launching in Tre Ciccio Altrincham and Ramsbottom on 11 June.
