Well-known, celebrated chef will team up with GG Hospitality
Highly esteemed chef and restaurateur Tom Kerridge has announced a new partnership with Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ GG Hospitality Group to take over the running of the restaurant within their new Stock Exchange Hotel.

The deal is quite a coup for GG Hospitality, after an initial agreement with chef Michael O’Hare, from Michelin starred restaurant, Man Behind the Curtain in Leeds, fell through last year. O’Hare had been drafted in to launch their previous cosmic fine dining restaurant, Rabbit in The Moon, which opened at the top of the Urbis Building at the beginning of 2017 and closed at the tail end of 2018.
Tom Kerridge is chef patron of the two starred Hand and Flowers in Marlow as well as two pubs in the same village, The Coach (one star) and The Butcher’s Tap. He also oversees Kerridge’s Bar and Grill at London’s The Corinthia Hotel and his events company runs the popular Pub in The Park festivals. He is also the author of several best selling cookery books, many of which have been inspired by his impressive twelve stone weight loss.
"This is a really exciting opening for us,” said Kerridge. “The hotel is going to be stunning and we’re very happy to be working with GG Hospitality. We can’t say much at this stage, but I can say that we’ll be bringing a bit of Marlow up to Manchester. We are very much looking forward to being a part of the city and joining the exciting and vibrant Manchester food scene."
The newly refurbished Stock Exchange Hotel on Norfolk Street will feature a destination restaurant and bar, as well as 40 luxury bedrooms and a roof extension. Kerridge will be the creative director responsible for overseeing the main restaurant along with the boutique hotel’s wider food and drink offering.

Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s GG Hospitality group also own Hotel Football in Trafford. The Stock Exchange has not revealed a solid opening date but is planning to launch in autumn 2019.
