GET your freak on at The Pen and Pencil with some shockingly good events later this month. Yep, say hello to Halloween – but be sure to whisper it, because in this space, no one can hear you scream.
Things turn nasty on Thursday 25 October, when it’s all about slashing pumpkins. Get to the NQ haunt for 7.30pm and you’ll be presented with a sacrificial offering – a big fat pumpkin, and a specially created rum cocktail, with more El Dorado rum tasters to keep those spirits up. Be sure to bring your A-game as the most pimped-up pumpkin picks up a prize, and you get to take your lantern home with you!
On Saturday 27 October, the special Disco Bottomless Brunch kicks off the All-day Halloween Party at 2pm (regular Bottomless Brunch starts at 10am), with three hours of free-flow food and booze. DJ Bucky gets the party started, with DJ Marco Giannini taking the evening session well past the witching hour. Grab a £5 cocktail special or two, get a Halloween makeover for free, dress a fright and hope for the best costume award.
