And, this year, massive changes to the hotel's iconic meeting place: The River Restaurant and Bar.
They've completely done over the interior design. They've got a new menu which we're a little bit stunned by. And they're doing amazing things with their drinks list, including making their own gin and their own honey.

They want to show it all off so they've asked Confidential to host a one-night-only showcase there. It's a full, three-course dinner with drinks. And it's only £35pp.

Their new executive chef Dave Ashton has chosen the menu – and from the options he's picked out, we can assume he's keen to impress.
Loch Duart Salmon. Cheshire Lamb Rump. Lemon Mousse made with Lowry Gin.
This is double AA rosette food – local, seasonal, and everything made from scratch in their kitchens, from the bread to the ice cream.
