SPINNINGFIELDS' summer drinking hangout, The Long Bar, opens this Bank Holiday Weekend next to the freshly landscaped lawns in Hardman Square.
The Long Bar will have exclusive access to designated areas of the lawns and is available to hire, making the venue the perfect space for special occasions and company parties.
Serving cocktails, cold beers and all the summer bubbles you can drink, the bar also has a lunchtime deli-style food menu and guest DJs playing every Thursday to Sunday night and on sunny weekday evenings.

It is the first venue of newly formed Spiningfields Events Ltd, a joint venture between Allied London (Spinningfields) and Living Ventures (The Oast House, Australasia, The Alchemist) and will be run by Phil Dawson who brought Pin-Up Bowling Lanes to Spinningfields in 2011.
This is a team that knows what they are doing when it comes to stylish and unique social spaces, so we’re expecting The Long Bar to be something a bit special.
Fresh daily sandwiches, deli boards, olives, bread and dips are all on offer and many a summer’s eve will be wiled away on its terraces by the city centre crowd. It is safe to say that The Long Bar is going to be ‘the’ place to spend the summer, even if the Manchester sun decides not to shine.
