The UK’s first clinically-led stretching studio is ‘extending its reach’ to the city

The UK’s first clinically led, one-to-one assisted stretching studio, ‘Stretched’ is opening a brand-new site in Manchester following a phenomenal success in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Opening on 15 November on Fountain Street, Stretched aims to help everyone move better and ultimately feel better.

The studio will offer a full-body mobility assessment, using Stretched’s state-of-the-art motion analysis technology. This will be followed by one-to-one, full body stretches with one of Stretched’s expert ‘Stretch Therapists’.

Assisted stretching provides a more controlled and deeper stretch than can be achieved alone, helping to improve flexibility and range of movement. Every Stretch Therapist is trained through Stretched’s in-house Stretched Academy, ensuring the highest standards.

Founder and Clinical Director Craig McHugh (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) said: “Manchester is a vibrant, forward-thinking city with a strong focus on health, fitness, and wellbeing. We saw a real demand for mobility-focused services here, with a community of people who can benefit from assisted stretching. Good mobility is the foundation of healthy movement, and we are excited to bring the power of assisted stretching to Manchester.”

Stretched Manchester will be open seven days per week, from 10am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm during weekends.

Prices start at £40 for an express 25 minute session or £70 for a full body 50 minute session with a mobility scan. Group bookings are also available.

Bookings for the Manchester studio will be open from early November. To keep up to date with the latest updates and find out more, visit stretched.uk
