YOU want to watch Wimbledon, but you forgot about the ballot, the house is a mess and you fancy a cold wet one. Lucky for this lot then...

CORK AND BULL

Forget ping pong, darts is the craze this summer, and new ‘social darts bar’ Cork and Bull is jumping on the bandwagon with a ten-week pop-up residency at Old Granada Studios. Whilst it’s usually £20 for a one-hour darts session (should that be Cork and Bullion?) and £5 for half an hours whiff-whaff, they've promised to drop the charges during matches for the next two weeks. More importantly, their screen is an impressive 8x4 metres and they’ll be screening all the tennis action, as well as the Euros and Olympics.

FIRST STREET

Coupling a 20-square metre outdoor screen with free Lawn Tennis Association coaching and a pop-up court, First Street is also beating off competitors with a host of restaurant deals: including 30% off all takeaway food at Pizza Express and an al fresco bar at HOME. The final weekend will also see street artists and live music throughout.

THE CLUB HOUSE

Spinningfields’ summer sports haven is here until 31 August. There are tipples and bar snacks aplenty, plus multiple screens and a comfy outdoor seating area. Alongside the entire Wimbledon season, they’ll be showing Euros and the Rio Olympics too. And worry not, they've got strawbs and cream.

BLACK DOG

It’s a sweet serve at Black Dog, with Wimbledon viewers able to take advantage of a special pizza and a £12 jug of Pimms while they watch the Grand Slam. Add slouchy bean bags, large upstairs screen and the requisite pool tables and it’s game, set, match. When Murray plays, they’re even offering free strawberries and cream... can’t whinge at that.
