Be charitable and be greedy. Gordo's GOB is back.

Do your bit for charity and personal gluttony

Rosso are the latest restaurant to respond to Fatty's arm-twisting and offer up ten £100 vouchers which will be sold on Manchester Confidential for just £50, raising cash for Gordo's Hospitality Action initiative – GOB.

Asha's have done it. Hawksmoor have done it. The River Bar and Restaurant have done it. It's always a roaring success. Great news for Hospitality Action, not such good news for you as the tickets tend to vanish quicker than a bottle of Burgundy when Gordo's in the vicinity.

Keep your fingers crossed, though, and you never know. It could be you.

You could be kicking back in Rosso's stunning restaurant, hoovering up fabulous Italian food and only paying for half of it. Summery calamari with chilli and lime, classic spaghetti carbonara, pizzas baked to perfection, roasted monkfish served with tomatoes and mint...see, you're drooling already.

So that's half-price feasting for you, £50 in the coffers for Hospitality Action. What's not to like?

It's all for a good cause. Hospitality Action was founded in 1837 to provide support and assistance to industry employees who've fallen on hard times due to illness, addiction, injury or whatever.
