That means it’s time to start planning some family fun with Manchester River Cruises. We will be hoisting the Jolly Roger for another mutiny on the Isabella this half-term with mermaids and pirates taking over the good ship Isabella on the following dates:
Dress up as a Mersey Mermaid or a dastardly Irwell Pirate for an hour’s cruise setting off from Salford Quays.
There’ll be rum punch for all you old salty sea dogs and juice and ship’s biscuits for the junior crew.
Pirate Skai will bring the half-term fun with games, pirate scowls and mermaid shanties to sing along to. All children will also receive a bag of treasure from the mermaid’s grotto. Adult participation is required or you’ll have to walk the plank.
It’s anchor’s away at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 3pm and 4.30pm from just outside The Lowry Theatre.
Despite all the mutiny and mayhem, the vessel is fully-equipped with toilets, heating and an on-board bar but unfortunately there is no disabled access as there are steps down to board. There is unallocated booth seating with six to a table and families may have to share with other Manchester mutineers.
Sail the high Quays with us with tickets £10 for children and £12 for adults. The activities are aimed at 2-10 year olds but children of all ages are welcome.
Please note, it is the adult’s responsibility to ensure the behaviour of their child does not significantly disrupt others’ enjoyment.
