There’s no magic wand to wave when it comes to finding fun-packed activities your little ones will love.
Or maybe there is…
Fairy princess Skai has one and she’s leading this fancy dress trip along the Manchester Ship Canal. It’s an all-new magical adventure. Join her as an Irwell Fairy or a Merlin of Media City or a bit of both. Whatever’s in the dressing up box will do.
Children need to navigate the waters of Salford Quays on the hunt for a missing magic potion. They’ll be rewarded handsomely with fairy floopy juice punch and sorcerer’s biscuits as well as a present from Fairyland.
On the way, there’ll be time for magical fun and games too. Adult participation is required or you may be turned into something slimy… The kids’ takeover of the Isabella takes place every day from Thursday 4 April to Tuesday 9 April at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 3pm and 4.30pm from just outside the The Lowry Theatre.
The vessel is fully-equipped with toilets, heating and an on-board bar but unfortunately there is no disabled access as there are steps down to board. There is unallocated booth seating with six to a table and families may have to share with other magical Manchester folk.
Tickets are £10 for children and £13 for old muggles. The activities are aimed at 2-10 year olds but children of all ages are welcome.
