Second week-long festival of cocktail-quaffing back in town
Cocktail-quaffers, look this way now. The week-long Manchester Loves Cocktails festival is back for a second year, turning the city centre into a magnet for mixologists and world-famous spirits brands.
Expect all kinds of drinks-related shenanigans, from tastings and masterclasses to parties and a competition to find the best bartender in the North. Arm yourself with a wristband and join another 2,500 or so discerning drinkers at these exclusive events over the seven days – and get to try out an array of specially created £5 tipples before anyone else.

Taking place 4 to 10 September in partnership with Ableforth’s and Re’al Syrups, wristbands for Manchester Loves Cocktails are available to buy now for just £10 (£5 for students, bar industry workers and NHS staff), and can be picked up at the Festival Hubs Crazy Pedro’s or Science + Industry.
