It's December, folks, and Christmas is officially hurtling towards us like a new variant on an anti-vaxxer's spittle.
Whether you're all over the Xmas markets, ice skating and pantos, sticking to an independents-only Crimbo shopping list or effing it all off and staying home with a fancy Xmas cook-at-home box, the festive season is well and truly upon us.
We will reveal an exciting new prize every day from 1 December until Christmas Eve.
The first day of December is the start of the door opening days for your advent calendars too, and while disturbingly-shaped, blister-packed chocolates or one of those new fangled gin ones are all well and good, the Confidentials Advent Calendar is much, much better.

We've teamed up with some superb partners to bring you our lovely readers (well 24 very lucky ones) nearly £3500 worth of fantastic prizes. A big, big thank you to this year’s prize contributors from all of us.
We don’t want to spoil the surprises but we’re giving away a sackful of food, booze and experience prizes from some of Manchester's best restaurants, shops, theatres and hotels.
This year, a record NINE of these prizes are special "gold prizes" worth over £200.
How the Confidentials Advent Calendar works
We will reveal an exciting new prize every day from 1 December until Christmas Eve. All you need to do is come back each day and click on the (open) calendar windows as daily prizes are revealed and fill out the form to enter.
This will also allow you to receive our latest newsletters telling you about the best food and drink establishments as well as discounts, special offers and exclusive events.
The more days you enter, the more chances you have of winning a prize - and if you’re not one of the lucky winners this time, hopefully, we’ve given you a little inspiration for your own Xmas pressie list.
