For one night only, the folk behind Liverpool’s renowned Cuban diner will bring their taste of sunshine to Manchester
THE folks behind Liverpool's hugely popular Cuban diner, FINCA, will be cooking up a Latin-inspired storm in the kitchens of Manchester's Brewdog on Peter Street on Thursday 26th January.
Launched early last year by the team behind the unconventional Secret Diners Club (where locations and menus are kept secret until the last mo), FINCA has already undertaken a number of residencies in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle and around Merseyside, however, this will be the first time they’ll be serving up their full menu in Manchester.
FINCA have a reputation for their excellent Cubanos, perfected by numerous trips to the motherland by its founders. It’s a hearty traditional sandwich filled with mojo marinated pork shoulder, horseshoe gammon, pickles, mustard and Gouda cheese (Manchester street food stalwarts Bangers & Bacon have been bangin' these out for awhile too).

Other dishes on FINCA’s special menu will be tailored to match Brewdog’s beer selection with some dishes even including the brewery’s own ales.
Daniel Heffy, chef and co-founder of FINCA, says: “We’re planning a very unique menu for the night, which will include beer being used in the cooking process and also as an ingredient in some of the dishes.”
FINCA’s kitchen takeover will begin at 2pm on Thursday 26 January.
