The Marple Bridge bistro and bottleshop has been recognised for its talents for the second year running

Fold Bistro & Bottleshop, a quaint neighbourhood restaurant in Marple Bridge, has been awarded a second AA Rosette, having been recognised by the prestigious food awards for the second year running.

Since co-owners, Amy, Mike and Sarah Harrod, opened the restaurant in early 2023, the independent business has gone from being revered by locals to a dining destination drawing attention from far and wide.

The kitchen is helmed by head chef Jake Rossington, who joined Fold as a sous chef during its opening year and instantly proved to be an ‘invaluable member of the team’. This humble restaurant runs like clockwork to produce incredible, innovative dishes whilst still providing a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere and stellar customer service, courtesy of restaurant manager Ana Thompson and her front of house team.

Speaking on receiving the second rosette, Jake said: “We are incredibly proud to be awarded this accolade. Since receiving the first Rosette in 2024, we have been continually pushing things forward. We've really found our groove with our approach to each menu, and it's great this has been noticed by the AA,

“We are grateful for all of our incredibly hard working staff and all of our amazing local suppliers that allow us to use the best ingredients and do what we do - we truly couldn’t do it without them. We take immense pride in being such a valued part of the community and glad we can put Marple Bridge on the map!”
