Events are go at The Boundary neighbourhood café and bar in the Heatons, with live music acts and extra-special supper clubs now on the bill
Kicking off the new food and drink takeovers, the menu will be heading to Mexico on 4 May, 6-9pm. You will be treated to a selection of Mexican starters, mains and desserts, plus tequila-based Margarita cocktails and bottles of Cerveza Pacífico Clara pilsner-style lager.
Authentic churros rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a dark chocolate chilli dipping sauce… Sweet
We’ve had a sneak preview of the blackened swordfish steak main, which is pan-seared and served with refried beans, Mexican rice and fresh pico de gallo spicy salsa – and it looks delicious. Then we saw the authentic churros rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a dark chocolate chilli dipping sauce… Sweet!
The music programme also continues at The Boundary, with laid-back tunes from some great artists. Expect acoustic instrumentals from kora-player John Haycock on 7 May (1-3pm), then close harmony vocals from Americano duo Limerance on 17 May (7-9pm). On Sunday 28 May (3-5pm), Lucy Mae is back with her soul, RnB and jazz vibes, perfect for the bank holiday weekend, then on Thursday 15 June (7-9pm), gospel-inspired singer Mica Millar crosses genres with her instantly memorable self-penned numbers.
The next big thing, we’re told – perfect for The Boundary.
