Over 40,000 people are expected to take part in the fourteenth annual Great Manchester Run, including WBA world lightweight champion Anthony Crolla, Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook, and actress Denise Welsh, alongside some of the world's best long-distance runners.
Previous winners of the Great Manchester Run include perhaps the world's greatest ever long distance runner, Haile Gebrselassie, as well as Britain's European 10,000m gold medalist Jo Pavey.
The race kicks-off with the elite wheelchair races at 10.55, followed by the elite women (11.12), the elite men (11.37) and everybody else (11.37). All start times can be found here.

The Great Manchester Run - which has raised over £20m for charity since it first began in 2003 - will be broadcast live on BBC2 from 11am.
