Local brewery invites drinkers to send 'Good Vibes' in lockdown
Family brewery SEVEN BRO7HERS has launched a brand new, spirit-lifting hoppy ale – giving drinkers the option to send ‘Good Vibes’ to friends via mail order.
The limited-edition beer ‘Good Vibes’ is available in single can or multi-pack orders and can be gifted with a personalised note to help keep friends and family upbeat during this challenging time.
A soft and mellow pale ale, the new 4.1% beer offers aromas of stone fruit and citrus from dry hopping with a duo of azacca and cascade and finishes with a smooth bitter aftertaste.
The ‘Good Vibes’ cans are available in 440ml for £3.50 and can be ordered with a gift card. For every gifted can, the brewers will be donating 60p to mental health charity Mind.
Keith McAvoy, from SEVEN BRO7HERS Brewing Co, said: “In lockdown it is very easy to feel separated and isolated from family and friends – and this can have a huge effect on a person’s mental health. That’s why we have chosen to support Mind with our latest beer project.
“Now more than ever we need to look after our mental wellbeing and be mindful of the wellbeing of others – to give one another a boost during this difficult period. We also know the nation is cracking open a cheeky can in the evenings so why not use this as an opportunity to send some ‘Good Vibes’ and make your friend’s day.”
The McAvoy brothers - Guy, 58, Keith, 50, Luke, 46, Daniel, 45, Nathan, 43, Kit, 38, and Greg, 36 - started their brewery in 2014, inspired by their dad’s home brewing in their cellar at home.
Last month the brewery unveiled its new-look cans and ‘family’ of beers – older brew recipes have been tweaked and improved and new flavours welcomed into the fold. The core family range is also available in select Co-Op stories and on their website.
SEVEN BRO7HERS' two Manchester beer houses and Salford Taproom currently remain closed due to COVID-19.
Keith added: “These have been challenging times for our business, but we feel it's important to keep being innovative with the beer we make and giving our loyal customers something new and exciting. We are striving to build our web sales as we pivot our business through this global crisis.”
