Artisan now has three private rooms to hire if you’re having a bit of a do

SECRET hideaways are all the rage in the dining world these days, and Artisan Kitchen + Bar isn’t one to be outdone, having not one but three rooms behind closed doors.

Ah, you thought it was just a vast semi-industrial stripped-back concrete warehouse with a 20-foot bar, didn’t you? Well, think again. Artisan by name, artisan by nature. Its three private rooms, each unique, lean more towards the artist’s studio feel, with paintings, shelves of books and knick-knacks, potted plants, parquet floors, Deco lamps and mismatched leather and wooden furniture. There have even been art classes here…

Artisan has three private spaces that you can book out just for you, each perfect for hosting private dos, business meetings or special events: The Drawing Room, The Studio and The Gallery.

The Drawing Room

The Drawing Room on street level is the biggest space available to hire out, with both indoor and outdoor café-style seating, and capacity for 30 people to sit in and 48 outside. It features its own private entrance, a fully stocked bar, and a PA system, free WIFI and AV equipment. (main image)

The Gallery

There are two upstairs private dining rooms, with The Gallery the grander. Adjoining the Neon Lounge, this space seats up to 30 and has facilities to cater for all your needs, including speakers you can enjoy your own music through, and a choice of three-course menus, starting at £25 per person.

The Studio

Tucked away behind glass screen doors is The Studio – the original Artisan private room and the most intimate. Bring a tablet or laptop and hook up to the audio system – you can even book the room for dance classes. Dining? Pick from one of three set menus, from £25 per head, with great table service.
