FOODIES mourning the closure of Aumbry and who can't wait for the opening of the new restaurant in the former Roadhouse venue can now get their teeth into McTague's food courtesy of Deliveroo.
As the chef is currently without a permanent restaurant, Deliveroo will be the only means of tasting her handiwork. The lucky inhabitants who live within 2.5 miles of the city centre will be able to enjoy dishes from both the Aumbry menu and the 4244 menu, delivered straight to their home.
McTague's new venture, 4244 at Home, which will operate from the catering kitchens within Old Granada Studios, is another addition to the growing list of great Manchester restaurants who are teaming up with Deliveroo.
Customers can enjoy their favourite meals from local luminaries of the restaurant scene such as Southern 11, Harvey Nichols and El Capo– and all in the comfort of their own home.
Deliveroo's emphasis on high quality and the fast turnaround – an average delivery time of 32 minutes – means that eating in can be just as good as eating out.
