Harley Young experiences the brand-new, cutting-edge preventative healthcare clinic at its site in Lincoln Square

Preventative healthcare technology company, Neko Health, has opened its first site up north as a reaction to overwhelming UK demand for its full body scans.

Co-founded in Stockholm in 2014 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek, Neko Health offers a state-of-the-art, non-invasive body scan that maps millions of health data points on the body - both inside and out - in mere moments. The full, comprehensive health check also includes assessing any moles and marks on the body, symptoms of metabolic syndrome and risk factors for stroke and heart attack, along with blood sugar levels to assess pre-diabetes risk. It also checks for skin cancer and blood abnormalities.

Immediately following the scan, visitors will receive their full results as part of an in-person, 1-2-1 doctor-led consultation where they will be given time to ask any questions they might have or discuss next steps. The whole experience is complete in just under an hour.

The new Manchester site on Brazennose Street will have the capacity to serve up to 20,000 people per year, providing clients with invaluable insights into their health and helping them to keep their wellbeing on track. Early detection and tracking health patterns can help people to better understand their bodies and what needs to change to prevent conditions from arising or worsening over time, often leading to less suffering and fewer complications later in life.
