The luxury hotel and restaurant's annual gastro-fest returns with a galaxy of star chefs
Northcote have announced the line-up for their annual Obsession event. Created by the hotel's founders Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft in 2001, Obsession continues to be a celebration of the best talent in the culinary world. The yearly announcement always has savvy foodies chomping at the bit.

This year’s schedule is unlikely to disappoint existing fans and may win over some new converts as they welcome household names like Rick Stein, Brian Turner, Ken Hom and James Martin.
The award-winning restaurant at luxury hotel Northcote has held a Michelin star for 22 consecutive years. In keeping with their stellar reputation, they have invited guest chefs from top restaurants all over the world with a total of 24 Michelin stars between them.
Some chefs will be teaming up in twos and threes this year, to cook together and provide a unique menu for diners.
Well-known British chefs like Sat Bains from his eponymous two-star Nottingham restaurant and Angela Hartnett from the one-star Murano will participate along with Euro stars like Jacob Jan Boerma from the three-star Restaurant De Leest in the Netherlands and Dieter Koschina from Vila Joya in The Algarve. There will also be menus from new innovative UK chefs such as Tom Brown and Kirk Haworth.
The event kicks off with a special menu from Northcote’s executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen on January 24th.
Obsession takes place at Northcote and runs from from Friday 24th January to Sunday 9th February 2020.
Tickets cost from £150 per person including Louis Roederer Champagne and canape reception, five-course menu and coffee and petit fours. A specially paired wine flight can be added with prices starting from £50 per person
