Contract Type: Full time Temp-Perm

Salary: £25K

Starting: September 2015

Location: Manchester City Centre, but travel other sites may be necessary.

The Project Manager will have at least 2 years experience in project management and have good knowledge of event production. They will have experience in writing risk assessments and preparing management plans. 

They will be confident in communicating in written, verbal and interpersonal. The chosen candidate will have good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) They will be creative and have the ability to work on their own initiative. Will also be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The Project Manager will travel to on-site inspections and meetings as well as being required to be on-site at each event. The successful candidate will conduct industry or site research, which will then be presented to the team accordingly, as well as any other ad hoc duties required.

Desirable skills: The candidate will have a full, clean, UK driver’s license, capable at engaging with and communicating to a variety of audience through social media and an understanding of commercialisation and selling space to brands.

Main Duties:

Oversee development, production and management of event projects and budgets, pre/during/post-event.

Ensure proactive planning, communication and scheduling of a wide variety of events across our sites nationally.

Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.

Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines with priorities on every event project that is managed.

Prepare risk assessments and ESMPs/EMPs for each event.

Oversee development of Event Mobilisation and Venue Information packs.

Oversee the safe delivery of our events and ensure our event activity is all in.

Ensure excellent customer service and quality of delivery of our activity.

Work closely with the Marketing, PR and Commercial teams on every event to deliver a.

well thought out strategy across the site.

Attend regular meetings with the client.

Create bespoke reports to meet the client’s requirement.

Present reports and evaluation documents to the client.

Manage marketing campaigns.

Have a good understanding of commercialising events/venues and active promotion.

Evaluate the performance of events and campaigns.

Drive efficiency and performance across all projects.
