LAST week Confidential revealed more details about the new BEAT STREET, a jumble of new bars, micro diners, arts spaces, sun decks and 'weird shit' set to take over Deansgate Mews from the rambunctious trio - Chris Legh, Lyndon Higginson and Bart Murphy - behind Manchester's popular Friday Food Fights and Junkyard Golf events.

Mouth-watering Indonesian street food... straight from the street markets of Bali

Now we've got hold of the final list of street-food traders that will be pitching their wares along the drag from next month. With a Jamaican jerk barbecue, salt beef bagels and a grilled cheese specialist, it sounds like you lot are going to need your eating pants.

Here’s a little blurb that BEAT STREET have written about each of them:

Big Grillie Style

They say: 'Boom ting it's a cheese thing. The fresh prince of grilled cheese, joins us with the best loaded grilled cheese sandwiches this side of Cincinnati or Chicago or somewhere in America.'

Bart’s Dog Kart

They say: 'Hawt Diggetty Dawg! Bart is back with his Kart, well more like a shack this time. The tastiest dogs and nachos in town, alongside a questionable choice in Hawaiian shirts.'

Bali Beach Hut

They say: 'Mouth-watering Indonesian street food; fresh, zingy and unforgettable. Straight from the street markets of Bali, made the traditional way from family recipes.'

Eat New York

They say: 'Three Manc lads creating cult street food 'straight outta New York' These guys know more about salt beef and loaded shakes than you can shake a stick at. Can I get a bagel over here?'

Indian Street Canteen

They say: 'Sweet, spicy and totally South Indian, you may have seen these guys on the circuit before (better known as the folk behind Chaat Cart) but this is an all new mixed-up micro-diner which will take your taste buds to another level.'

Lekker

They say: 'Going Dutch? These guys have been smashing it on markets for a while, but now they’re coming at you with a full time, no holds barred Dutch Diner. If the sweet stuff is your thing, this will be confectionary crack in mini pancake form.'

Jerk

They say: 'Charcoal fired goodness from the new kids on the ‘Jerk' block. They sold out at Parklife with their incredible Jamaican barbecue. Something to do with the fact that they stole their recipes from the world’s best Jerk shack....'
