A reminder of a clear day back in early December

The first few days of the new year have brought with them the kind of winter weather many associate with Manchester; dense, impenetrable clouds letting rain drench the city almost eternally. 

But cast your mind back through the fog of late December to the early days of that month, and we were graced with a beautiful day. 

Confidentials reader and keen amateur photographer George Coulter kindly provided us with these photos of the view from Deansgate Square's North Tower, taken in the early morning as the sun rose.
