THE Work + Play meetings and events space was rolled out at Malmaison in Birmingham last year and now it has arrived in Manchester bringing a fresh approach to business.
Gone are the greys of traditional corporate hospitality
Offering flexibility, personality and style, Work + Play puts the needs of today’s dynamic new entrepreneurs, businesses and start-ups at its heart. Gone are the greys of traditional corporate hospitality, replaced with edgy artwork, sleek glass walls which give the space a brightness and an openness and breakout spaces which create an inspiring spot for collaboration and idea creation.
The new space features five meeting rooms with a capacity ranging from 8 to 110 - ideal for conferences and training days - and four pods, which offer a more intimate option for smaller meetings. There’s plenty on offer for after-work team building – private dining is available in each of the rooms, and additional options, from wine tasting and cocktail making to bar take-overs and DJs, mean it is a truly adaptable space.
Available to rent by the day or by the hour, the spaces provide ultra-comfortable seating, facilities for video conferencing and webinars, UHD TVs, and conference calls. Guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks and delicious options from Malmaison’s brasserie for lunch.
Paul Roberts, Chief Executive of Malmaison Hotel du Vin, said, “We’re incredibly proud of Work + Play. There’s been a great response to the concept at Malmaison Birmingham and we’re excited to now offer it in Manchester. In today’s increasingly connected world more and more people are working on the go. They are looking for somewhere that is both practical and inspiring to spend a few hours. With Work + Play we meet that need”.
