WITH modern Mediterranean cuisine reminiscent of clear blue skies and sun-soaked shores, Per Tutti is the perfect place to celebrate the brightening weather. Who needs plane rides and currency exchange when you can sit in its airy dining area - strung with sprigs of flowers, laden with caskets of wine - and be instantly transported to warmer climes?

Quite honestly, it’s all delicious (trust us, we’ve eaten it)

Whilst maintaining a winning mixture of stone baked pizza, wholesome salads, homemade pasta and grilled mains - plus traditional starters and indulgent puds - Per Tutti’s spring menu is packed full of colourful new introductions. Quite honestly, it’s all delicious (trust us, we’ve eaten it) but, since we like to be helpful, we’ve painstakingly narrowed it down to nine must-try dishes. Here goes...

Starters

Salmon & Prawn Fishcakes

Simple yet satisfying, these come in a trio and are complemented by horseradish and dill. Served on a bed of beetroot and fresh salad leaves, their unusual round shape makes these fishy fiends look very similar to the butternut squash and feta arancini - another excellent starter.

Braised Lamb Meatballs

You can’t get much more exotic tasting than these delicately-seasoned delights, which sit atop Moroccan spiced cous cous studded with dried apricots. Best way to experience them? Close your eyes and imagine you’re in the bustling souks of Marrakech.

Mackerel Bruschetta

This clever little dish takes the Italian appetiser - grilled bread rubbed with garlic, then drizzled with olive oil - and pairs it with a little fresh fish and spiced tomato salsa. Buonissimo.

Mains

Grilled Pork Chop

For a meaty main, we recommend the grilled pork chop - served on the bone for extra flavour. Accompanied by an earthy celeriac & apple mash, along with roast carrots and sage & onion, it’s a great comforting classic.

Roast Fillet of Salmon

Red tomatoes, green asparagus, pink salmon...this sunny dish is so vibrant, you almost don’t want to eat it and spoil the artistry. Almost. Scallop & prawn ravioli completes the seafood medley; garnished with wilted spinach, asparagus and a tomato & balsamic dressing.

Summer Truffle and Cheese Agnoli Pasta

How can you resist with a title like this? Add butternut squash, wild mushrooms and spinach & garlic butter. Need we say more?

Desserts

Vanilla Pannacotta

If you’re after something light and refreshing to finish off, look no further than the pannacotta. Accented with raspberries and honey, it works a treat - and even has the perfect wobble.

Sticky Toffee Pudding

We can’t proclaim this is ‘light’ or ‘refreshing’ so here are some adjectives we can apply: delectable, scrumptious, exquisite, heavenly...you get the gist. Soaked through with toffee and served with fresh strawberries and clotted cream, as far as sticky toffee puddings go it’s pretty much unbeatable. (main image)

Chocolate Pudding

Even if you aren’t a chocoholic, this melt-in-your-mouth pud is a sensation that’s not to be missed. Delve past the sponge exterior into a centre of smooth unctuous chocolate and you can truly die a happy person.
