IF YOU have a sweet tooth, you don't want to miss Busaba's desserts. The menu is an exciting mix of popular favourites and traditional Thai delights.

The caramel topping was so addictive, we could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner

From the flavours of pandan leaf to those of passion fruit, it can be hard to decide what to order. Which is where we come in. Let Confidential talk you through what we think are Busaba's best desserts.

Banana Fritters

Street food can be sweet food too as these glorious banana fritters show. If you've got an appetite, these are the ideal dessert: hot, tasty and filling. They're not claggy though – the light batter and the rapeseed oil in which they are fried make this a healthier option than you might imagine. The accompanying coconut ice cream and sticky toffee sauce bring everything together like a dream. Definitely one of our top picks.

Crème Brulée

Crème Brulée may not exactly scream 'Taste of Thailand' but this classic dish is so amazing – who cares? Besides, there's a tasty lime-infused twist with this one that gives it a subtle zesty background, making it more refreshing and less rich.

Sticky Black Rice Pudding

A real Confidential favourite, no question about it. This isn't a posh pud, it's traditionally eaten by Thai farmers as it uses common ingredients from around the home, farm and garden but no less tasty for that. The rice is glutinous and moreish but with a slight crunch for texture. Swirls of coconut added a beautiful exotic flavour. We could eat this dish again and again.

Passion Fruit Mousse

Light and lovely this is perfect for those times when you think you can't quite manage dessert but you don't want to miss out. There's always room for a passion fruit mousse. It's a fruity and refreshing option, enhanced by the fresh mango which sits atop the mousse. There's a slight sour tang which tones down the sweetness and balances out this dessert beautifully.

Salted Caramel Chocolate Slice

Sometimes only chocolate will do. Rich, sweet and salty too, the chocolate slice was a whole rollercoaster of flavours. The caramel topping was so addictive, we could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pandan Roll With Coconut Ice Cream

Busaba's Thai take on a swiss roll but with an appealing mint-green sponge. Pandan is a popular ingredient in South East Asia where it adds a sweet and aromatic vanilla flavour to desserts. Bring on the pandan power we say.
