#TWITFACED is back for its eighth event on Friday 31 January and as it’s their second birthday, they're having a good, old-fashioned house party at Lock 91 on Deansgate Locks.
It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited
Go along if you want a chance to let your hair down with likeminded Manchester business folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as on Twitter. The price includes up to three free drinks and plenty of entertainment. As always, the TwitFaced team have organised a free welcome shot for every guest who arrives before 8pm, and there will be an extra special birthday treat kindly provided by Hey Little Cupcake.
Musical delights come from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn playing an eclectic mix of dance floor favourites, old and new. Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg (Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Home, El Divino) will be spinning his usual upbeat dance grooves late into the night. Mark is a firm TwitFaced favourite and knows how to get a party going.
Entertainment includes the return of TwitFaced's own Mr Mentalist and mind-reader, Chris Rawlins. And almost part of the TwitFaced furniture now, James Anthony will once again bamboozle the crowd with his own brand of illusion and sorcery.
Entertainment partner Make Happen is hosting a live entertainment lounge on the ground floor where you can enjoy live music and karaoke, or just a good old natter on the sofas. Simon Calderbank will be the host with the most for the evening across the other floors.
Aside from all this you can expect the usual surprises, games and hotly contested awards such as ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘TwitFaced Champion’.
