Concert

There is a new mega action thriller out in cinema this week, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble. This action packed adventure follows Nick Fury, director of international peacekeeping and an elite team of Marvel superheroes who must fight a terrifying extra terrestrial global threat. Opera della Luna returns to The Lowry on Friday and Saturday night with their new production of Don Giovanni. The production is sung in English and portraits Mozart’s tale of love and revenge.

Museum
Imperial War Museum North currently has an exhibition called The Falklands, in honour of the 30 anniversary of the Falklands War. It‘s an outdoor photographic display which looks at the heroes, casualities, dangers and challenges of the conflict. The museum also offers a 20 minute walk and talk around the exhibition on Friday afternoon.
