The venue’s famous beer garden becomes an open air comedy venue this July

This July, beloved Salford gastropub The Black Friar is teaming up with renowned comedy venue Frog and Bucket for a special one-off comedy night, turning the pub’s famous beer garden into an open air comedy venue as part of its ‘Summer of Boddies’ celebrations.

On Thursday 2nd July, guests can enjoy performances from a line up of acclaimed stand-up comedians including MC Faizan Shah, Garrett Millbrick, Jacob Nussey and Bethany Black.

The event forms part of The Summer of Boddies, a season-long celebration marking the return of Boddingtons Cask to The Black Friar, the oldest remaining Boddingtons pub in the world.

Combining live comedy, a beer garden and a few cold pints, it's the ideal night out for anyone looking to make the most of the summer evenings.

Tickets are £15 and available to book via the Frog and Bucket website
