One of Britain’s biggest boy bands at the moment, The Wanted, are stopping off in Manchester as part of their UK arena tour on Friday 17 February. The Imperial War Museum is hosting an exhibition looking at stories of war and the real events that inspired them. Once Upon a Wartime includes personal objects belonging to the authors, bringing the novels and the history behind them to life. The Gatekeeper, by award-winning writer Chloe Moss, is receiving rave reviews at the Royal Exchange. It tells the story of a dysfunctional family and their reunion in the Lake District.
