#TwitFaced is back on Friday 14 September – this time at canal-side Castlefield bar, Bohemia.
Described as a 'very informal networking event', it's a chance to let your hair down with likeminded Manchester folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as on Twitter.
There's drinks offers, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited
Tickets are free but limited in number. Register here.
First off, the drinks. From 6pm to 9pm, you get a TwitFaced cocktail on arrival, and 50 per cent off house drinks (single spirits, wine, Fosters, John Smiths and Moretti on draught, Sol and Peroni in bottles), plus 50 per cent off TwitFaced cocktails and sponsor cocktails.
Then from 9pm onwards, it's 25 per cent off house drinks (as above) with a Bohemia loyalty card – which you get by giving them your business card.
There'll be musical delights from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn, who has DJed at almost all of Manchester’s best known clubs (apart from 42nd Street). Resident over the years at Prague Five, Holy City Zoo, Rossetti, Panacea and Sub Space, Martin plays an eclectic mix of dance floor favourites, old and new. As part of the Across the Tracks collective Martin’s festival appearances this year include Latitude, Deer Shed and Leeds and he will arrive at TwitFaced fresh from a gig at Bestival.
Rumour has it that Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg, fresh from celebrating 20 years DJing to some of the world’s finest dancefloors, may also hit the decks to spin his usual upbeat dance grooves.
There'll also be sets from two of the event sponsors, both back by popular demand. theEword's Al Mackin and Dan Nolan and UP Search's Christian McGinty and Ross Thompson will be spinning house and dance classics.
Add to that the Wheel of Booze making appearances throughout the evening, the TwitFaced app and a couple of interactive elements still under wraps, and there you have it.
#TwitFaced starts from 6pm on Friday 14 September at Bohemia, Castlefield. Register here.
