INSPIRATION can come from absolutely anything but often it's an environment or place that you enjoy spending time in. Whether it's music, sport or fashion, it's all happened here in Manchester and continues to do so.

We love all things creative, from art to fashion and we are always looking for new ways to interact with people by introducing them to things we find interesting

The name Texture came from the reference to sound and light waves - it's the embodiment of what we are. We're a late bar by design, but also a space to hire and inspire.

We have a incredible design team who have used specialist lighting and projection to create an interior that can transform itself from a blank canvas, to bar or fully branded promotion space, anything our clients and customers want.

After searching the empty spaces of Manchester, we came across the space on Lever Street and were sold. The building had a fantastic high ceiling with amazing original steel beams, open floor space and most importantly lots of natural light. We have a space than can host events day and night. The original use of the building was as The Prince of Wales club and was more recently part of the Manchester College Centre for Music. So it's no stranger to good times and music.

There were rumours that Texture was a project from London Developers. Whilst business Manger Kirk Paten is as cockney as you can get,  our Events Manager, Karen Lyons is Manchester born and bred and the owners have been based in Manchester for longer than they care to remember, so we can can definitely squash this rumour.

So what can we expect when it does open its doors?

We love technology at Texture. We also love all things creative, from art to fashion, and we are always looking for new ways to interact with people by introducing them to things we find interesting. This might all sound a bit gimmicky but that is exactly what we want to encourage and we plan on evolving as new technology and ideas become available to us.

Some client’s have already embraced our vision for the space by booking events even before we are open. We are delighted to be hosting a Night of Fun and Fashion for After Adoption, a Manchester based charity and we are also supporting up and coming creatives when we host the end of year show for students from the Stockport College University Centre.

The bar will initially be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from early evening until early morning, with the events space available to hire the rest of the week. We have focused on a signature cocktail list along with a bespoke wine list. The bar will centre it’s programme around house music with elements of disco, soul, funk and anything else cool and fitting for a discerning Manchester dance floor.

Ultimately what is important is not what we think, but what our customers and client’s think, so we look forward to welcoming you all down when we open to the public on the 24th April and hope that you are as inspired by Texture as we are.
