MANCHESTER Piccadilly Station has become the site of the first ‘fast track’ TGI Fridays, a format which aims to provide convenient food for commuters.

"It couldn’t be a more perfect location than in one of the busiest railway stations in the country"

The commuter demographic is evident in their generous provision of power sockets, USB charging sockets and WiFi. Individual seating will also be available so a commuter’s every desire has been catered for.

The Upper Concourse location has seating for 135 diners with a rustic colour scheme and local artwork. Bless.

As they enjoy their short wait, customers will be able to watch their food being cooked as a result of the open plan kitchen. All of the food on the menu has been chosen to meet the demands of commuters, allowing meals to be served quickly.

New to the menu is the classic American-inspired breakfast which includes waffles, maple bacon and Jack Daniel’s candied sausages.

Jane Sadler, General Manager for TGI Fridays Manchester Piccadilly said “It’s a great pleasure to be opening the first of Fridays’ ‘fast track’ restaurants, and it couldn’t be a more perfect location than in one of the busiest railway stations in the country. We’re really looking forward to what is expected to be a busy opening period and can’t wait for our guests to get a flavour for the fast track restaurant.”
