PROMOTION
SAN CARLO seems well on its way to world domination. The independent family-owned group is already one of the leaders of the UK's restaurant scene but now they're going global with Cicchetti set to open in the Qatari capital, Doha, later this year.
Expect the usual Cicchetti style: sweeping solid marble feature bars and bespoke seating hand-crafted in Italy
The £2 million restaurant will be located in one of the city's most enviable locations, The Shoumouhk Towers. Also known as 'The Dancing Towers', they are linked by a five-storey bridge and have commanding views of the city and the Arabian Gulf.
Expect the usual Cicchetti style: sweeping solid marble feature bars and bespoke seating hand-crafted in Italy. Besides stunning views and interiors, Cicchetti's Doha outpost will offer stylish all-day dining with its renowned menu of small plates – ideal for sharing.
The restaurant will be San Carlo's fourth restaurant to open under license overseas, alongside successful Signor Sassi restaurants in Bangkok and Kuwait but the group remain committed to upholding the same top-quality dining and professional service as in their UK outlets.
Group chairman, Carlo Distefano is looking forward to the opening and is 'passionate about sharing the San Carlo magic.'
San Carlo: Now, Manchester. Tomorrow, the world.
