As comforting and elegant as your favourite cashmere jumper
The creative kitchen team, headed up by award-winning Head Chef T. Bayandai, have surpassed themselves with a dynamic new lunch menu that uses fresh, authentic Italian ingredients.
Starters like prosciutto and chicken terrine, roasted pumpkin tartlet with baby mozzarella and rocket or linguine in a spicy tomato sauce with swordfish and capers are a true taste of Italian seasonality. If this is October in Rome, we want to go.
Main courses are equally tempting with heart-warming choices like pan-roasted pork cutlet on an apple risotto or gnocchi with broccoli, dolcelatte and walnuts. Vegetarians are certainly spoilt at Rosso.
The new lunch menu can be paired with some of Rosso’s speciality wines which are unique to the restaurant. The Italian Malbec, Fattoria Aldobrandesca, and the Sicilian white Vermentino, Capichera, are both exclusive to Rosso and would make an ideal accompaniment to your meal. No wonder Rosso are so proud of their wine list which is one of the most extensive outside London.
The team at Rosso look forward to sharing their autumn menu with new and old guests alike.
