Jono Lancaster’s new book comes out on Thursday 20 July and it could be yours
Used books are the future as well as the past. They help the planet and they are an affordable way for everyone to enjoy books.
Join us at Manchester’s Corn Exchange to celebrate the launch of a new book we think you’ll like very much.
Jono Lancaster’s autobiography, Not All Heroes Wear Capes, is being released on Thursday 20 July. The author himself will be at the Corn Exchange from 10am with sixteen signed copies of his book.
To get your hands on one, all you have to do is turn up with one of your old books, and swap it for a token for the Corn Exchange Read, Swap, Repeat book vending machine which, on the day, will be stacked with sixteen signed copies of Not All Heroes Wear Capes.
The book is inspirational, emotional and empowering all at the same time. It tells Jono’s story, how, born with Treacher-Collins Syndrome (a condition that affect facial appearance) and growing up in foster care, he turned his differences and his challenges into his strengths.
You could be reading your own signed copy and all you have to do is bring in a book you’ve read. All we ask is that the books for the Read, Swap, Repeat book vending machine are in a decent condition and suitable for adults.
You can find the Read Swap Repeat machine inside The Corn Exchange by the Fennel Street exit.
