Have a very veggie Christmas at Alvarium
Alvarium’s Christmas menu is full of tempting meat free dishes and every one is a stunner. There are no turkeys here.
Sit down to a selection of festive plates for that whole sharing is caring Christmassy feeling – dishes like ‘Jack’ in blanket with celeriac, braised red cabbage and papayacorn sauce or smoked Romanesco cauliflower with parsnip cream, parsnip crumble, buckfast gravy and pickled cauliflower have all the flavours you’d expect from feelgood yuletide feasts.
It’s good value too with dishes ranging from £6.50 to £9. In fact, the whole menu is purse-friendly which is handy when everyone’s finances take such a hit in December. You don’t have to have a big fancy meal. You can just drop by for a coffee and a sandwich yet still be treated to all those flavours that are quintessentially Christmassy.
Sandwiches are all £7 and packed with ingredients like: sage and apple stuffing; date and orange pâté; glazed red cabbage. Christmas between two slices of bread.
There are side dishes and puddings too – everything you need for a Christmas catch-up. After all, is it really Christmas unless you’ve had Alvarium’s poached pear with caramelised oat, coconut and roasted plum sorbet?
