All Star Lanes is, as we all know, a ten-pin bowling alley. But it also does much-loved food, amazing cocktails, and hosts parties for the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, visiting rock stars, and (less gossip-worthy) Manchester businesses like yours that want to give their staff a brilliant night out.
Their private room, called The Jungle Room thanks to its retro-cool leopard print design, has hosted parties for retailers, restaurants and most of the big organisations in Manchester. The BBC, JMW, RBS, KPG, ITV (and many more three letter acronyms) have all held staff dos there.
The main draw is that it offers something different to your average private room: namely two lanes for unlimited bowling. It's built-in entertainment that gets everyone involved and having fun. Add to that a fully-stocked bar, a New York-inspired canape menu that’s a meal in itself, drinks packages, a full PA system, and the option of karaoke, and you can see why it’s popular.
It's also a very professional operation which makes it easy for the organiser on your side. The All Star Lanes events manager will help you plan your party, then on the night they provide a dedicated bar team and a host to keep everything running smoothly, even co-ordinating a bowling tournament for you if you like. So you can leave your clipboard at home and enjoy the celebration with everyone else.
The Jungle Room hosts up to 100 people and they say 30 is about the minimum number (any less and the space feels too big). If you’ve got a bigger party, you can hire the whole venue – it holds up to 800 people. Smaller groups can hire The West Wing – an exclusive area of the main bowling hall suitable for groups of up to 20 people.
It’s perhaps no surprise that The Jungle Room is already booked up for the key Christmas party nights (most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December are full). But there are plenty of mid-week December dates still available – get in there fast.
And of course, it doesn’t have to be a Christmas do. Sometimes your team deserves a party just for being fabulous. And clients you want to thank or impress rarely turn down an invite to a night out here. All Star Lanes Manchester also hosts birthday parties, weddings (they’ve got a marriage licence), and children’s parties.
