'BACON wizard'. Imagine that. Specky breadstick wand, Hedpig, a Gaga cape of jowl... 'PeskiPIGsi'.
Burgers range from £7.50 to £11, and are halal (if you're bothered)
That's chef Jasper Aykroyd, by the way, the self-styled Lord of Oinkington and new Executive Chef of London-based Meat & Shake, who are embarking on a bold 'change of direction'... by opening a burger gaff in Manchester.
Yes Meat & Shake - established in 2013 in London's Tooting district - have confirmed their intention to open in Manchester's new £30m redeveloped Corn Exchange come the first quarter of 2016, alongside London brethren Wahaca, Vapiano and Pho.
The burger-smokehouse brand will also open in Ealing and Watford this summer as it looks to expand, co-founder Faraz Ahmad told bighospitality.co.uk:
"This is a particularly exciting and busy time for us. After the success of our first restaurant in Tooting, we've had lots of opportunities to open more, but have been careful in making sure we've picked the right site for us."
Burgers range from £7.50 to £11, and are halal (if you're bothered), dirty fries are £6 (if you're bothered... which you should be) and there's not a drop of booze (of course you are).
Hold on... 'Bacon Wizard'? Halal? Hogwash.
